Light spice notes with a blushed claret color, this wine initially tasted young, fruit forward and premature but after 30-60min decanting it was like a transformer and morphed itself into a completely different wine that was easily drinkable on its own or paired with any types of protein. Acidic, fruity, and earthy. Its the solid Pinot you expect a Pinot to be at a much higher price point. Aged nine months in 100% French Oak, the fact that its currently on sale for less than $10 a bottle is a steal and if I am at my Costco soon I will get another half case or so.
